What’s the role about?

Reporting into the Raw Materials Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring our raw materials (packaging and ingredients) are food safety and quality compliant.

You will be responsible for implementing our testing processes ensuring due diligence and assessing incoming raw materials in line with our plans. Using your sharp analytical skills, you will ensure all non-conformance investigations meet our high-standard and are detailed with robust root-cause analysis supported with effective corrective actions.

You will be responsible for collecting data to support supplier performance monitoring systems. As well as carrying out trend analysis of raw material tests to evaluate performance against KPI’s and identify areas to increase efficiency you will share responsibility for calibrating laboratory testing equipment and ensuring acceptable levels of laboratory consumables and chemicals are maintained.

In this role you will also play a key supporting role in building and maintaining “powerful partnerships” with our raw material suppliers through management of our supplier non-conformance system. Experience working in a laboratory environment is desirable.
