THE QA TESTING ENGINEER ROLE:
Overall, you will ensure they provide quality products to thousands of customers who use them every day. This will include:
- Working in a scrum team, creating acceptance criteria and executing test cases.
- Estimate testing tasks
- Logging, prioritise and retesting bugs
- Thinking beyond the basic requirements where a customer may not follow the "golden path"
- Recommend UX improvements
- Experience testing with web and mobile apps
- ISTQB part or qualified
- Familiar with testing management tools such as Redmine and Jira
- Familiar with automation tools such as Cucumber, Specflor and Postman.
- Understand performance and load testing, such as Jmeter
- Proficient in BDD and understanding of TDD
- £35,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience
