Requirements:
  • At least a 2:1 bachelor’s degree in psychology, or a related field.
  • A passion for the learning and development of pupils with complex needs.
  • Adaptable character to accommodate the unique needs of the SEN pupil.
  • Some understanding of complex needs and how these can be facilitated.
  • Previous experience of working in a school, or with additional support needs is preferable.
 
The Role
  • Building strong bonds with an SEN student and teaching staff to create a positive learning environment.
  • Assisting staff in adapting learning materials and lesson plans to suit the needs of the pupil.
  • Supporting the pupil across the syllabus to aid their attainment.
  • Partaking in activities with the wider school community.
