Job Title: Civil Structural Engineer
Location: Remote
Pay Rate: £40 - £60 per hour
Contract: 52 weeks, inside IR35
We are looking for a Civil Structural Engineer to join our team in Plymouth. This role is primarily remote, with monthly visits to site. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on the detailed design phase for a major infrastructure project.
Civil Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
- Producing specifications
- Creating detailed design reports
- Collaborating with the internal team and external partners to provide effective solutions
- Defining pumping and pipework
Civil Structural Engineer Key Skills:
- Experience in mechanical services (pumping/pipework)
- Nuclear experience (beneficial)
- Knowledge of Control Cabinets, Connection Boxes, and Cable Routing (very beneficial)
- Familiarity with Autodesk Vault/Navisworks (beneficial)
- Knowledge of architectural design for industrial buildings and building services design and installation
- Relevant knowledge and skills in technical design development
Civil Structural Engineer Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in structural engineering
- Civil or Structural Engineering degree
- SC Clearance, or ability to obtain it required
