At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Forklift operative to work with an important company known for its expertise in logistics and supply chain management, providing services such as warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions.

Shift Patterns:

• Fixed Days - Monday to Thursday 0730 - 1630 and Fri 1230
• Fixed Afternoons - Monday to Thursday 1330-2200 and Fri 1030-1800

Pay Rates

• Days £12.77ph - Afternoons £14.37ph

As a Forklift operative you will need to have:

• Valid or recently expired forklift certification
• Proven experience as a forklift operator.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and guidelines
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job as this role requires some manual handling skills

Role of a Forklift operative:

• Operating Forklifts: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move materials, products, or equipment within the facility.
• Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks, trailers, or containers using the forklift, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items.
• Material Handling: Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, or designated locations using the forklift.
• Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by documenting the movement of materials and reporting discrepancies.
• Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of material movements, deliveries, and other relevant information.
