Quantity Surveyor/ Trainee Surveyor

CJC are currently on the look out for a Quantity Surveyor/ Training Surveyor on behalf of our large property services clients. A successfull candidate will be anmbitious and primarily come from a social housing or contractor background. This role will be 80% 0ffice based with a £4-£6k car allowance.
Responsibilities:
- To manage financial and technical aspects of contracts including procurement, invoicing and payment to minimise costs & maximise value
- Ensure tenders are prepared by measuring and calculating rates for estimating for review with local Commercial team and Branch Manager
- Ensure all work issued has labour targets to return agreed margins
- Monitor the weekly and monthly cost information and accurately produce monthly valuations
- Develop and maintain relationships with the workforce, customers, subcontractors and suppliers
Requirements:
- Experiance in a similar role
- Experiance in social housing and/or contracting
- Relevant qualifications
