MPI requires a Production & Facilities Support Assistant, on a contract basics, for our client based in Bedford
Approximately 3 months contract
Pay rate £12.12 p/h PAYE
Main Purpose of the Job:
To support the Operations team around the factory with various tasks to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing machines for shipping.
- Ensure all fire escapes are kept fully clear with no hazards.
- General help on moving items around workshops
- Assist with workshop re-organisation tasks such as line painting, mounting signs, etc.
- Floor cleaning and sweeping factory floors.
- Empty Bins from:
- Shop Floor
- Stores
- Remove un-used pallets from factory floor
- Operate the waste compactor when required and keep in a tidy condition
- Help in other business departments – with Supervisor approval.
- Counterbalance forklift certificate preferable.
