Van Driver / Trade Counter Assistant

Mon - Fri - 7:30am - 5:00pm (1 hour break) 

Alternate Saturday mornings - 8:00am - 12:00pm (30 min break) 

Are you a skilled driver with a passion for logistics and extensive knowledge within the plumbing industry? We’re seeking a reliable and customer-focused van driver / trade counter assistant to join our clients busy, fast paced organisation.  You will be transporting and delivering a variety of plumbing supplies across different locations in Kent.

Your duties will include:

• Delivering various plumbing supplies to customers throughout Kent 
• To advise and serve customers on the trade counter, whilst providing detailed and insightful information regarding products 
• To provide customers with accurate quotations 
• Helping other departments throughout the business including goods in to ensure stock is placed in the correct location 
• Be involved in the stock taking process 
• Assisting with the customer order process and updating inhouse system
• Various general housekeeping throughout the warehouse and trade counter 
• Replenishing stock on the trade counter

The successful candidate will have / be:

• Extensive knowledge of plumbing and heating products is essential 
• Previous experience of van driving 
• An approachable and can – do attitude towards work
• Full UK Drivers Licence (maximum 3 points)
