Our client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke equipment. They install, service and maintain their equipment throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join their team at their site in Luton, Bedfordshire. The successful Service Coordinator will liaise with customers and will schedule both preventative maintenance and repair activities for the field engineering team as well as supporting the sale of service contracts.

Service Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming technical enquiries from customers and allocate to engineers for resolution.
  • Liaise with engineers and customers in the planning of maintenance visits.
  • Maintain an up to date view showing all planned visits with priorities along with all outstanding workload for the coming weeks.
  • Re-plan workloads as required to provide timely response and resolution to instrument breakdowns through organisation of engineering resource and management of purchase orders.

Service Coordinator Requirements:

  • Previous resource scheduling / planning experience.
  • Relevant customer service experience.
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritise workload.
  • IT literate.

Service Coordinator Benefits:

  • Salary is negotiable depending on skills and experience.
  • Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.
