FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for a position of Senior Project Engineer, this is a permanent role based in Poole, Dorset, working within a manufacturing/engineering environment.  Salary is up to circa £60,000 depending on experience plus benefits.  This role is an opportunity develop your career further within composite manufacturing.  This role involves detailed engineering management planning, and proactive material procurement.  There will be some occasional UK and overseas travel.  Relocation assistance available.

Responsibilities:

• Project management for key initiatives
• Manage a diverse portfolio delivering top-tier composite products in line with client specifications through to completion
• Commercial ownership , estimating costs and managing client accounts
• Building customer/client relationships for service and support
• Lead in new product introduction for clients; liaising with internal teams and quality team
• Mentor junior staff, reviewing and approving engineering work
• Able to oversee complex tooling designs
• Management of MRP system
   

Skills and experience required for the Senior Project Engineer role:

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent, supported by a minimum of 5 years in a relevant role.
• Proficiency in composite and GRP material manufacturing.
• Strong IT skills, with CAD proficiency (Siemens NX or Solidworks) being highly advantageous.
