The Opportunity:

We're on the lookout for a Senior Consultant to assist in the rollout of the digital roadmap for highways and smart city technology asset stabilisation, optimisation and enhancement.

You'll operate in a front-end Consultancy role in a client facing position, understanding and analysing their needs, challenges and goals and providing expert advice and recommendations on how to optimize and enhance current and future roadside technology solutions.

This role will attract those in front-end Consultancy delivering digital services into any engineering industry (construction, energy, renewables, smart buildings, rail, ITS, etc.) who want greater autonomy and career progression.

Candidates will need exceptional communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills, who can deliver professional consultancy services.

Skills and Experience:

• A degree or equivalent experience with c8 years consultancy experience, with Chartership to a relevant industry body being highly desirable
• Experience of design roadside technology schemes calculations and drawings, along with the ability to communicate these in a non-technical way
• A positive industry profile developed through a demonstrable industry leading contribution to the digital sector
• A broad, but in depth understanding of technology aimed at the transport/mobility sector (sensors, camera, IoT devices, V2I, etc.)
• Exceptional communication, client/stakeholder management and analytical abilities, with prior client facing experience into transport related public sector bodies (National Highways, TfL, TfGM, etc.)
• Full UK Driving Licence
