Stores Operative

Job Location:               Bournemouth, Dorset

Job Type:                     Permanent

Salary:                         Up to £11.70 per hour / £22,510 per annum

Hours:                          37 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4pm & Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative for a global manufacturer on a permanent basis.

You will be working within a small team of 8 in a busy role to process all goods in, kitting of parts for the production shop floor and packing for despatch.

This role involves a high volume of manual handling and also will involve regular use of stairs due to the stores being located across 2 levels.

Duties will include;

• Receiving goods in
• Booking in stock on the system
• Kitting of parts and goods for production
• Allocating kits to production
• Receiving spare parts and finished builds from the production floor
• Packing of finished builds and preparing for despatch

The successful candidate will possess;

• Previous stores / warehouse experience
• PC literature
• Excellent attention to detail
