Force Recruitment are looking to speak with Assistant Site Supervisors and Site Supervisors with a proven background in Residential and Highways to join a leading Civil Engineeirng Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising/managing construction works for various civil engineeirng projects, those involving S278 agreements.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising highway construction works.
• Delivering Section 278 Works ensuring all elements are completed to a high standard and to deadlines. 
• On site supervision and management of the construction team for the duration of the works.
• Sub-contractor supervision including site inductions and site record reporting.
• Maintaining safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Monitoring the construction works to ensure all specifications and safety protocols are adhered to.
• Assisting the engineering team with the design drawings to ensure they are followed correctly, providing technical assistance and advise where necessary.
• Review/production of CAD drawings.
• Conducting site investigation works and inspections.
• Liaison with local authorities including compiling & submitting required adoption documentation.
• Reviewing tenders and works quotations.
• Commercial assessments, valuations and costing of works.

Requirements:

• UK Driving Licence (Essential)
• Project Management experience
• Residential and highways background is (Preferable)
• CAD Experience (Preferable)
• Excellent communication skills
• Microsoft Office competent
• Understanding of current industry trends
• Supervision and management skills
• Safety management skills
