Our client is a PE backed acquisitive financial services business with ambitious expansion plans who are looking to recruit a Group Financial Controller to join their team.

The Role of Group Financial Controller
Reporting to the Finance Director, your duties will include but not limited to:
Financial Control & Business Partnering
- Monthly management accounts preparation including core business and new acquisitions; development of the group’s internal and external reporting aligned with and in conjunction with our strategic ambitions.
- Mange delivery of executive committee reporting with insightful and informative commentary on performance, KPI’s, trends, issues, activity, and risks.
- Business partnering with regional managing partners, functional heads, and budget holders.
- Oversight of daily/weekly cashflow across multiple banks and utilise to maximise treasury returns.
Catering for Growth
- As a member of the senior finance team, work collaboratively to evolve and embed control frameworks as we continue to grow.
- Identify and leverage opportunities for efficiencies and economies of scale whilst delivering effective internal control and governance of existing business and extending to new acquisitions.
- Utilise best practices in financial management, leveraging technology to streamline processes, improve efficiencies and identify inconsistences.
- Identify cost optimisation initiatives; organise tenders to procure group-wide arrangements.
Annual reporting
- Support the team on the group’s annual audit cycle and associated communications in accordance with the relevant accounting standards, regulations, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
The Candidate for Group Financial Controller
- Qualified Accountant or a QBE
- Experience in a Regulated financial services business
- Experience of a PE backed business.
- Self-motivation and being a team player are essential
- Ability to thrive in a fast faced ever changing environment

Please note this is a 6-month contract with immediate start based in High Wycombe (accessible by train) and is an office based role
