Head of Cable Jointing
Alecto Recruitment is recruiting on a superb position for a Head of Jointing.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established specialist across Utility connections and Civil Engineering.
Due to their continued growth, they are recruiting for a Head of jointing.
The Role:
- On a day to day basis you will be responsible for ensuring timely and cost effective planning for teams ensuring they are adequately scheduled for current jointing projects
- Responsible for ensuring teams are working safely, they are adequately trained and that they have the required plant, equipment and materials to effectively execute their roles
- Directly responsible for the safety, quality and technical standard of work
- Ensuring compliance for yourself and your teams with all legal, regulatory and client requirements at all times
- Develop, coach and motivate your teams
Requirements:
- This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced team manager or an aspiring craftsperson who is looking to take the next steps in their career.
- Experienced Low voltage (LV) Cable Jointer
- Ideally you will have some on-site team management or supervising expertise
- Experience managing faults on the Low voltage network would be advantageous
- Experienced cable jointing up to 11KV
- Any experience cable jointing above 11kv is an advantage but not essential

Salary:
