Job Title: Qualified Teacher

Salary: £140 - £200 per day (depending on experience)

TeacherActive are currently seeking a Qualified Maths teacher to work within an excellent secondary school based around Newcastle Upon Tyne.

The successful qualified maths teacher will have the ability to deliver a high standard of education and create a positive classroom learning environment. As a qualified teacher you must have the ability to manage a classroom of Key stage 3 / KS3 and Key stage 4 / KS4 students. It is essential that you can engage with the students and offer support where required.

A successful Qualified Teacher will have:

• QTS / ECT
• Mathematics specialism
• Classroom management experience
• Behavioural management experience
• Clear understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
