Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Based onshore / offshore – 6-month contract
Our client, a global oilfield services business, is looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician for an initial 6 month contact which will be predominately based in workshop in Aberdeen but with offshore work also involved on an ad hoc basis.
Candidates are expected to have mandatory certification for working offshore UK – BOSIET, medical, MIST.
The individual will be expected to be able to maintain a wide variety of mechanical equipment and as such, our client is willing to consider candidates with maintenance experience on the following:

- Air system repairs
- Triplex pumps maintenance
- Centrifugal pumps maintenance
- Mixing system maintenance
- Hydraulic system maintenance
- Process piping repair
- Butterfly valves repairs
- Time served apprenticeship / City & Guilds / HNC (Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent
