AKTON Recruitment is working closely with the local authorities and we are looking for a Attendance Officer in the Walsall area. 12 months ongoing contract.
Job description:
- To support the School Attendance Support Service with home visits to support attendance.
- To liaise with schools, professionals, and other agencies to address attendance concerns.
- Maintain accurate and appropriate records in respect of casework.
- Contribute to the positive development and welfare of children and young people in Walsall.
- Presentation of CV will be taken into consideration by the manager also. All applicants must be committed and dedicates as the role is ongoing.
Key Requirements:
* As an Attendance Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the attendance and welfare of pupils in our community.
* Valid Driving Licence: A UK full driving licence is essential for this role.
* Access to Own Vehicle: You must have access to your own vehicle, along with Business Insurance, as you will be responsible for commuting within our area to conduct home visits.
Responsibilities:
* Conducting home visits to ensure the attendance and well-being of pupils.
* Collaborating with educational teams and families to promote school attendance.
* Contributing to the positive development and welfare of children and young people.
