HGV Technician

Join my clients transport organisation near Sittingbourne as a HGV Technician. My client is seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to ensure the maintenance and repair of their fleet of heavy goods vehicles in the Sittingbourne area to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs
- Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance tasks on a variety of HGVs.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently and effectively.
- Follow manufacturer's guidelines and company procedures for all repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Complete accurate paperwork and records for all work carried out.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the workshop
Experience essential for this role:
- Level 3 qualified in HGV maintenance and repair.
- Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, preferably in a similar role.
- Possession of an IRTEC licence is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
*Shifts are alternate earlies and lates*
