Plumbing Engineer 

Brighton (West Sussex working location)

Permanent – Full Time

£28,000 - £34,000 Basic Salary (DOE) + vehicle, fuel card, enhanced overtime, bonus

The Company:

Our client is a national, leading service provider that specializes in complete plumbing, heating and drainage services to a wide range of clients, managing domestic and commercial plumbing and heating issues. The company provides a quick and competitively priced response to their clients’ needs. They diagnose and fix a wide range of plumbing and heating issues offering a service that is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 365 days a year for all their client’s needs.

The company are looking to take on a permanent full time employed, field service Plumbing Engineer to work mainly on maintenance work (new project wins) and reactive jobs at times.

The Role:

You will predominantly be site based (commuting to sites, diaily from home) undertaking all plumbing jobs whilst ensuring, where possible, that work is completed on the first visit. You will be able to confidently explain to customers what work you need to carry out ensuring you leave them with peace of mind and confidence in the company’s abilities.

The main purpose of the role is to cover all water-related plumbing issues and to work on existing and new client PPM work. You will be expected to work out of hour’s at times and will be required to be flexible with on call rotas. 

• Diagnosing problems with customers’ internal issues - leaks, air-locks, no water, low pressures, etc. and ensuring resolution.
• Carrying out general repairs and replacements on all water fittings

The Requirements

Essential

• Candidates will have an excellent background in plumbing
• Relevant qualifications in Plumbing – such as an NVQ
• Excellent geographical knowledge of the area
• Successful applicants will be subject to a criminal record and DVLA check.
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence – due to company insurance policy
• Excellent time keeping
• You must be prepared to travel at times 
• Excellent Customer facing skills and communication

The company are willing to pay a competitive starting salary of £28,000 - £34,000 (doe) plus a fully expensed vehicle (to keep at your property)
