About the Role: We seek an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in utilities, especially in delivering IT solutions for utilities clients. You'll excel in managing projects within outsourced environments and adeptly handle multiple requirements and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the IT Project, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with the IT team to align business requirements with suitable solutions.
- Manage external tender selection with the procurement team as needed.
- Support investment sign-off by shaping project business cases, including summaries, costs, risks, timelines, and financial forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Degree level education.
- Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent project management qualification (highly desirable).
- Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) or equivalent (preferable).
- ITIL experience/qualification.
- Significant IT delivery experience in project and portfolio management.
- Expertise in project implementation and financial ownership in various contractual situations.
