Contracts Manager - Roofing Specialist
Location: Greater Manchester/Liverpool area
We're urgently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 to £55,000, depending on experience, plus a car allowance or company car and fuel card.
Key Requirements:
• Extensive experience in flat roofing and working at height
• CSCS certification
• Familiarity with manufacturers such as Bauder, Sika, IKO, Polyroof, Centaur, Langle, Moy, Alumasc, and Proteus
• T1/T2 experience preferred
• Proficiency in roofing systems including Hot Melt, Felt, Liquid, and single ply
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Clear DBS check (to be completed)
• Strong understanding of housing law and management
• SSSTS / SMSTS certification (or willingness to complete course)
• Proven contract management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Oversee HSE compliance, including RAMS preparation and on-site adherence
2. Manage project performance, quality control, and contract compliance
3. Set and monitor project objectives and KPIs
4. Identify opportunities to improve margins and manage risks
5. Monitor financial performance of contracts
6. Conduct lessons learned reviews and maintain up-to-date industry knowledge
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of roofing materials, specifications, and latest regulations.
