Monday to Thursday - 0800 to 1630 Friday - 0800 to 1300

Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Warehouse Operative (Logistics) to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to provide a goods inward service for materials and equipment and a despatch service for finished goods.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £25,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and Pension scheme after probation.

This is a full time, Permanent role. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday - 0800 to 1630 Friday - 0800 to 1300.

Reporting to the Despatch Team Leader your responsibilities will include:

• To ensure that products reach our external customer on time and the goods are packed and loaded in a quality manner so that there is no damage during transit.
• General packing and wrapping required - shrink wrapping and labelling.
• Check goods in as they arrive, inspecting them against delivery notes and orders, and stamping them as checked, reporting damage/discrepancies.
• General warehouse/storage duties including driving a fork lift truck and operating cranes.

The ideal candidate:

• Experience within a logistics department in a manufacturing environment, goods in and goods out.
• Have experience with basic data input/retrieval.
• Have experience operating a pallet truck & forklift.
