Meetings & Events Supervisor

We are seeking an exceptional Meetings & Events Supervisor to join the team at our client's independent, family owned hotel.

The role

The role of Meetings and Events Supervisor is responsible for supervising the operation of functions and events including corporate, weddings and private functions. As Supervisor you will need to have excellent communication skills, an exceptional eye for detail and a drive and enthusiasm to lead the team in delivering outstanding customer service.

Duties

The duties of the Meetings and Events Supervisor include;

* Reporting to the Events Manager you will assist with setting up meeting rooms and event space to the highest standards.
* Meet & greet organisers on arrival and support throughout their event.
* Supervise events including, Meetings, Private parties, Banquets and Weddings
* Attend weekly operations meetings to ensure the fine details are actioned for each event.
* Carry out Hotel Duty Management when required.
* Close shifts and cash up the tills.
* Assist the Events Manager with team training & development.
* Assist with team rotas.
