About Us:

We are expanding and will be opening Orchard Rise Farm in Loxton, ready for September! We are an innovative provision offering a safe space for children with SEN.

At Orchard Rise Farm, our students will learn through an outdoor, land, and craft-based curriculum, which includes practical skills like gardening and caring for farm animals.

About the Role:

- Provide 1:1 support to learners with learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

- Help students adjust to their new settings, recognise signs of distress, offer reassurance, and promote inclusion.

- Supervise and support students to ensure their safety and access to learning, facilitating their physical, emotional, and educational development.

Requirements:

- Experience working with children/young adults with SEN.

- A desire to learn and a passion for working with children with additional needs.

- A patient, caring, compassionate, and child-centred approach.

- Excellent observation skills and the ability to problem solve and think creatively to enable our students to reimagine their potential.

- Emotional intelligence and resilience with the ability to react calmly in challenging situations.

- An interest in or skills in working in the outdoor environment.
