  • Fit out or strip out experience

An established construction business is seeking a freelance Supervisor to support a Strip Out project on an Office building in Birmingham city centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 10 trades staff on site.

Job Duties:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of trades staff on site
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Monitor progress of the strip out project and report to the clients Site Manager
  • Handle any issues or conflicts that may arise on site
  • Maintain records of work completed and materials used
Required Qualifications:
  • CSCS certification
  • SSSTS certification
  • First Aid certification
Experience:

Prior experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of strip out processes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional health and safety certifications
  • Previous experience in managing strip out projects
Working Conditions:

The role involves working on a construction site in Birmingham city centre. The candidate must be willing to work full-time hours and be available for the duration of the contract.
