Calibre Search are delighted to be working collaboratively with one of the UK's fastest growing Construction Consultancies who are now eager to bring in an accomplished Project Manager to join them in Sheffield.

Having begun the business over 10 years ago, they now boast an impressive 100 staff across 5 UK offices now with Sheffield being the home of where it all started. They have three floors, very spacious, open plan, modern style to compliment their work environment with a lovely historic feel with wooden beams, internal brick walls etc which adds a lot of character.

Be part of their team of 20+ in Sheffield where you will assist the Associates and Directors of the team delivering various new builb, refurbishments and fit outs of a vast amount of various properties from schools, universities, heathcare and retail stores offering a great blend of private and public sector work.

Ideally, they're keen to speak with Project Managers who have the relevant RICS degree in Construction Management or Surveying (either QS or BS) and have already been exposed to working within a similar environment to them being client side working via another consultancy. They're happy to consider PM's at intermediate all the way up to Senior.

On offer is a competitive package, a fair and team bonus incentive and free parking within Sheffield as they like all their staff to be in the office but flexible work is on offer.

If you like the idea of joining a growing, ambitious, forward-thinking Practice with employee welfare and culture at the forefront of all they strive towards, this could very much be a position for you.

Duties/Requirements:

  • Conduct feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation etc
  • Interview and select contractors for tendering or negotiation, evaluate tenders received and appoint contractor
  • Inspect and monitor the construction works with regard to quality and conformity to agreed specifications and drawings
  • Prepare regular reports to clients on all aspects of the project including progress, programme, costs, risks and quality management
  • Client liaising and chairing meetings throughout the project life cycle
  • Ideally having relevant qualifications being MRICS/MAPM/MCIOB or working towards such qualifications
  • Previous construction/property consultancy experience as a Project Manager will be essential for this role
  • Being presentable at all times and wanting to generate further business development where possible
