Credit Control Administrator

Location: Coventry, UK

Working Hours: Full Time, Flexible / Hybrid working. One extra work from home day at the end of every month.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide full credit control support to the team covering seasonal set up, billing and admin support, this will entail:

  • Updating purchase order numbers on customer records and reviewing outstanding purchase orders from customers.
  • Approving invoices for release to customers and monitoring the accounts inbox as well as attending seasonal review meetings.
  • Managing databases and data entry tasks in anticipation of adverse weather conditions, followed by administrative duties, including sending out backup documentation, such as proof of delivery (POD).
  • Setting up customer accounts and job cards in the NAV system, updating Job Cards with new information provided by the sales team and collating and releasing progress reports to the customer base.

Requirements

  • This position will require someone with prior credit control experience ready to learn more and embrace the dynamic nature of this role.
  • Motivation to update and implement processes and manage projects related to setting up new processes is key.
  • Ability to pick up new systems and computer literate, with a good working knowledge of Excel. Experience with Microsoft Navision is preferable but not essential.
  • Good timekeeping and problem-solving skills with strong communication skills and a positive attitude who can embrace working with stakeholders at all levels and enjoys managing tasks.
