Dunbar Education is currently looking for a dedicated Science Teacher to join our team in Wolverhampton. This position presents a unique chance to inspire and educate young minds, nurturing their academic and emotional growth. As a Science Teacher, you will design engaging lesson plans, cultivate a positive learning atmosphere, and cater to the individual needs of each student.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students.
  • Create and implement assessment strategies to track and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the primary school curriculum.
  • Provide support and guidance to students in their academic and personal growth.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events as needed.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred (unqualified and experienced candidates welcome to apply).
  • A degree in a science-related discipline.
  • Experience teaching science at the secondary level is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
