EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a CNC Turner to join a precision engineering company located in Northampton, working on a 3-6 months contracting basis.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

• £30.00 per hour inside IR35 (umbrella)
• Opportunity to work with state-of-the-art CNC Turning / Milling and Mill-Turn machinery

Your responsibilities include:

• Setting and operating multi-axis CNC Turning machines 
• Working from Engineering drawings / 3D models

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum of 3 years programming Turning / Mill-Turn / Turn-Mill machines using online controls     
• Ability to set, operate and edit
• Understanding of Fanuc or Siemens CNC controls
• Worked with multi-pallet, multi-axis machines 
• Ability to work from engineering drawings
• Previous experience of machining complex components, ideally within aerospace, motorsport, nuclear, oil & gas or medical sectors
