We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Storeman to join our team in Paddington. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our construction site.
Job Description: As a Storeman, you will be responsible for managing the storage and distribution of brackets and GRC panels of our site. Your role will involve ensuring accurate inventory control and supporting the smooth operation of site activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take control of all bracket and GRC deliveries, including counting and cross-checking with delivery documents.
- Hand over brackets to contractors while keeping a signed record.
- Ensure the Logistics Manager is informed of any shortage of bracket types well in advance.
- Stock all brackets on shelves.
- Manage the movement of GRC panels.
- Report any issues to the LM promptly.
Requirements:
- Proficient in English (reading and writing).
- Manual handling trained (able to handle weights approximately 25kg).
- Strong sense of accountability.
- Availability to work on weekends.
- Ability to work in a basement environment with limited natural light.
