  • Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
  • Schedule: Long days / Full-time
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Rate of Pay: £26 per hour
Role Overview:

As a Community Psychiatric Nurse specialising in crisis care, you will play a critical role in providing essential support and care to patients within the community. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular home visits to ensure patient needs are thoroughly met.
  • Administering medications at scheduled times to effectively address patient needs.
  • Engaging in in-depth conversations to understand and monitor patient conditions, identifying any improvements or setbacks.
  • Performing comprehensive risk assessments to ensure the safety of patients and create a secure environment during their treatment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Active registration with the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse.
  • Demonstrated community experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong commitment to providing the highest quality of patient care.
