Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer to join our Trade APIs Project within the Trade Programme. This role is integral to the design, development, and maintenance of our Trade APIs.

Essential Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years as a lead developer on commercial enterprise-level projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Solution Architect to lead the design, development, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of Trade APIs.
- Consistently produce robust, clean, well-tested, and well-documented code.
- Serve as an expert in systems design and software development for Trade APIs.
- Work with the Solution Architect and Project Manager to identify, plan, and formulate project requirements.
- Support the Delivery Manager, Project Manager, and Scrum Master by providing project and resource management.
- Oversee the day-to-day technical management of Trade APIs.
- Conduct detailed analyses of system interactions to determine cost-effective and user-centric technical solutions.
- Offer technical advice and guidance to developers, remove blockers, and promote good practices.
- Design and optimize databases.
- Perform unit and integration tests to ensure software meets functional and technical specifications.
- Monitor team health, onboard new members, and manage leavers.

Your Profile:
- Enthusiastic about cloud computing with experience in building scalable, resilient applications on Azure.
- Proficient in .NET and related technologies (e.g., .NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework).
- Experienced with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), preferably using Azure DevOps.
- Familiar with agile methodologies in a commercial environment.
- Passionate about technology and committed to building enterprise systems for prominent UK companies.
- Dedicated to ongoing learning about new Microsoft technology stack functionalities.

Desirable Technologies and Patterns:
- Microservice-based architectures using Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and Event Sourcing patterns.
- Azure or .NET certifications.
- Knowledge of Security standards such as OWASP and PCI.

Essential Skillset:
- *Backend: C#, .NET Core, .NET 6, ASP.NET, MVC, REST APIs, Entity Framework, Visual Studio 2022, MS SQL Server, Azure Storage Account.
- Frontend: Vue.js, MVC, JavaScript.
- Azure Platform: App Services, Function Apps, App Insights, APIM, Service Bus, Azure Active Directory, Key Vault, Managed Identity.
- Test Automation: xUnit, Moq, TDD (Specflow, Selenium preferred).
- API Testing: Postman, SOAPUI, Swagger.
- DevOps: Experience with Azure DevOps Boards, Build/Release Pipelines.
- Web Content Accessibility: Knowledge of WCAG, W3C standards.
- Application Security: Knowledge of OWASP Top 10.
- Architecture:Microservices, Serverless.
- Agile Methodology: Experienced in Scrum framework.
