Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment have been given the exciting opportunity to recruit for production operatives for a well known global manufacturer in the NG4 area of Nottingham.

As a production operative you can expect your day to be varied and challenging so it does require somebody who is dedicated, and dexterous!

You will be operating machines, learning production processes, providing support to other members of the team and eventually be given the freedom to run your own machine and demonstrate your ability to learn and develop to look for the next step.

About the Client:

Their expertise in the design and manufacture of gas cylinders including aerospace and inflation, scuba, medical, speciality gas and industrial, CO2 and fire extinguishing. They are global manufacturer which would look great on your CV not only do they have offices based in Nottingham, they also have additional manufacturing facilities in Pomona, California; Nottingham, England; Calgary, Canada; and Shanghai, China.

Benefits & Pay Rates:

• £13.85 - £14.55 per hour

• Temp - Perm position with progression opportunities and promotions from within
• Immediate starts available 

This role will require candidates to:

• Rotate shifts weekly working 06.00-14.00, 22.00-06.00 and 14.00-22.00 
• Have candidates learning new skills on the job to ensure that the production line does not stop
• Machine mind and be good at paying attention as this role will involve a lot of quality checks along the production process

What we need from you:

• Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
• People who are committed to learning on the job and want a temporary ongoing/temporary to permanent placement
• To be physically fit as this role will involve a lot of manual handling 
• Have previous experience in a similar Production Operative role
