Working with a major automotive OEM, Expleo now needs to expand its activities within the Body In White (BIW) sector.
Expleo are looking for the right candidate with Geometrical dimension and tolerance (GD&T) experience to head up its new department and lead a team of GD&T Engineers in the development of an exciting new product.
- As the Project lead, you will be responsible for:
- Gathering tolerance analysis, Gathering and evaluation of Historical Non-Conformance data
- Assessment of compliance to the existing design standard and programme specifications
- Understanding the fit form and function requirements
- Experience with current manufacturing and assembly requirements.
- Structural implications, rate considerations, production of documentation suitable to be processed through change process and all supporting functional areas.
- Attending stake holder reviews and creation of verification reports
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent; or extensive relevant industry experience
- Good theoretical knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in relation to the automotive industry
