Sue Ross Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside their client who are looking for an experienced Sales Ledger Controller on a 3 month basis starting immediately. This is a full time role with hours of Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm located in Barnsley. You must meet the security clearance requirements of this role which includes having resided/ worked in the UK for a minimum of 5 consecutive years.

Experience as a Sales Ledger Controller is a must for this role and the main duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Raising sales invoices for both domestic and commercial customers
  • Processing all income from various sources and allocating to correct accounts
  • Ensuring customers are reconciled correctly
  • Managing all direct debits
  • Credit Control
  • Involvement with the debt recovery processes of the company
  • Monthly sales ledger reconciliation
  • Aged Debtors
  • Receiving any customer queries and finance helpline calls
  • Covering Purchase Ledger duties on occasion if required

This is a really lovely team culture and if workloads remain consistent there could be the potential for the role to become permanent.
