Non PI Claims Handler

We have an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Non-Personal Injury Claims hander to join our in-house insurance teams based in Doxford.
In this role you would be trained to assess liability for motor insurance incidents, dealing with settlements of third-party claims and recovery for Arriva.
What does the role involve?
- Handling incidents/claims in line with the department’s procedures, service level agreements and current case law
- Processing of supplier invoices.
- Completion of 90 days reviews on a monthly basis.
- Reporting on weekly incoming and outstanding postal figures.
Requirements for the role:
- Ideally previous experience within an insurance or claims environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- The ability to work to deadlines.
- Strong IT Skills particularly with MS Office including Word, Outlook and Teams
- Effective communicator.

- Starting salary of £22,500 rising to £23,000 after successful completion of probation period (6 months)
