We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Fabricator / Plater to join the Aberdeen team.

This role offers £20.79 per hour with overtime opportunities at 1.5x and 2x time and an early finish on a Friday.

Position

• To undertake the fabrication of pressure vessels and heat exchangers of various diameters and thickness between up to 80mm
• Carry out fabrication on pipework as per engineering drawings with tight tolerances
• To undertake work utilizing different materials including titanium, CuNi, stainless steel, duplex, super duplex and carbon steel
• Responsible for stripping and re-assembly of heat exchangers and pipework for maintenance
• Carry out general workshop day to days tasks as and when required
• Adhere to all workshop HSE and quality procedures
• To undertake work independently and as part of the team

Requirements

• Time served with a Level 3 qualification in welding and fabrication
• Experience working in a medium to heavy fabrication background
• Be able to interpret and read engineering drawings with a good understanding
• Demonstrate an excellent attitude towards company HSE and Quality
• Heat exchanger and pressure vessel experience
• Forklift truck and overhead crane qualification preferred but not essential
