About the Client:

The client provides Architectural Services across various sectors including education, commercial, retail, leisure, residential, and healthcare.

As a Chartered Architect - Departmental Lead, you'll oversee the design, management, and delivery of various building projects. Your role involves leading teams, and ensuring projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and specifying building projects, complying with regulations.
  • Managing projects through planning, regulations, and consent processes.
  • Leading multidisciplinary Design Teams and coordinating external Consultants.
  • Facilitating communication within the team and with external parties.
  • Providing technical guidance and support.
  • Generating fees for the Architect Department.
  • Supervising a team of Architectural Technicians.

Requirements:

  • ARB registered Architect with relevant experience.
  • Membership in professional bodies like ARB and RIBA.
  • Demonstrated experience in Architectural design and delivery.
  • Versatility across operational areas and client types.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar.
  • Experience across all 6 RIBA work-stages.
