We are delighted to be supporting a medium sized family owned manufacturing business, who are expanding their UK based site and are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to come on board.

This is a regional role and will support regional commercial organization and global corporate functions, therefore someone who has a good understanding of European Laws and the complexities of their legislations would be a huge benefit.

To be successful in this role you will need to be self-sufficient, innovative and adaptable. You will spearhead competitive business ideas, lead training and development and oversee projects such as leadership programs whilst being the main point of contact for all HR related issues.

Job Responsibilities:

•Become a trusted advisor within the European organisation that you support. Provide coaching and consultative support to employees and managers. Through excellent business relationships, play a key role to drive high engagement among employees
•Manage the relationships within the countries that have employees by building knowledge of local legal and compliance requirements and being the key contact for payroll and HR issues in each country.
•Working closely with global OD teams support the implementation of progressive talent strategies that proactively address retention and development needs. Be proactive and creative in recommending and executing on people strategies to drive business outcomes
•Play a lead role in the implementation of DEI programs, community programming, and many other activities designed to continuously improve employee experience
•Serve as the main HR point of contact for EMEA and perform other related duties/projects assigned.
•Understand the future needs and capabilities required for the organization and partner with Organizational Development to design strategies to address needs
•Facilitate activities such as bi-annual talent reviews, engagement feedback sessions, roundtables, and annual performance review calibrations0
•Responsible for partnering and educating client group on HR offerings such as training programs, volunteer opportunities, team building activities, and other key updates that need to be delivered from HR
•Support regional recruiting for respective client group

Experience Required:

•7-10 years experience working in a HR capacity
•CIPD Level 7
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, mentoring and coaching skills
•Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
•High Proficiency in software programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
•Experience working with European Laws and Legislations

Additional Information:

•Salary Package - £40,000- £45,000 (DOE)
•Hours: Monday to Friday 9am 5pm with one day working remotely if you choose to
•Discretionary Bonus You will be part of the bonus scheme based on company and personal performance, payable in December each year
•Holiday Bonus discretionary Christmas bonus paid by the owners in December
•Holiday 22 days plus an additional 3 days holiday during the office shut down between Christmas and New Year (Also, discretionary holiday entitlement increases by 1 additional day of holiday for every 5 consecutive years served)
•Pension Stakeholder pension with company contribution of 5% salary
•Healthcare Voluntary health care with Vitality
•Income protection 75% of salary, after 13 weeks deferment, if you can't work due to sickness or injury for up to 1 year.
•Probation Period 3 months
