Job Description:

As a NetSuite Business Development Manager, you will join our clients dynamic Sales and Marketing Team, focusing on selling Oracle NetSuite to prospective clients. Your role will involve identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and providing expert technical insights.

My client is looking for a candidate with a solid understanding of Oracle NetSuite, its underlying technology, and its potential to address customer business challenges and drive growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and manage new sales opportunities for Oracle NetSuite from initial prospecting through to deal closure.
  • Plan and execute sales and presales activities, collaborating closely with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and participate in events for lead generation.
  • Conduct engaging presentations to potential clients.
  • Plan and prioritise sales activities to achieve annual targets.
  • Produce accurate and professional written sales proposals, service agreements, and lead commercial and technical negotiations with prospects.
  • Meticulously update the CRM system with all prospect and client communications.
  • Coordinate relevant consultant resources as necessary.
  • Stay current with industry trends and product developments.
  • Attend industry events and third-party conferences
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the team.

Skills and Competencies – Essential:

  • Strong understanding of Oracle NetSuite and its underlying technology.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably selling ERP solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, progress, negotiate, and close deals of various sizes.
  • Ability to manage complex business solutions.
  • Excellent written skills for building sales proposals and service agreements.
  • Experience working and presenting to senior-level executives.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a busy workload.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive approach to business.
  • Strong IT industry knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites.
