Consultant Psychologist
Salary - £75,000 per annum
Hereford, Herefordshire
This is a one day per week, 7.5 hour consultancy position
Summary
Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with neurological, mental health needs and learning disabilities. Together we are seeking a Consultant Psychologist for their specialist service for adults with complex neurological care requirements.
This is a one day per week (7.5 hour) position providing consultancy to other professions to provide goal-oriented care and treatment across the service and support with cognitive, psychometric and behaviour assessment, on a referral basis. You will be supported by an Assistant Psychologist based at the service and you will become part of a growing network of psychologists across the company's neurological services and the wider organisation.
Requirements
- BPS accredited psychology degree
- UK HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
- Chartered member of BPS
- Evidence of engagement in ABI networks (Brain Injury/Neuro)
- Practical knowledge of using a full range of psychological theory models in a clinical setting
- Have evidence of applying psychological knowledge to neurological services
- Be experienced working with clients and neurocognitive deficits
- Have previous experience of conducting research and project working
