The Company

My client is a well-established contractor based in the North-West area. Due to a large increase in workload, they have an immediate start for an experienced Site Manager for about 28 weeks work.

The project is 80% built including structure and frame, they are now at internal stage and have until the end of November as a completion date.

The Role

As a Site Manger your main duties will be to manage the finishing stages of the project, driving the workforce to handover for the November completion date.

• 07.30 – 16.30 Monday to Friday  
• Responsible for ensuring that trades and subcontractors complete works to a high standard to completion
• Delegating/Managing trades and sub-contractors
• Maintaining and promoting Health & Safety and environmental standards (EQS)
• Liaise with other department managers and other members of the construction team
• Reporting to the Contracts Manager on Health & Safety, site logistics, progression of work

About You

As a Site Manager you will ideally come from a trade’s background and have a minimum 5 years experience carrying out a similar role. You will be highly motivated and be able to work in a busy, pressured environment and have proven experience working to tight deadlines.

• Proven track record working for a leading contractor or house builder
• Eye for detail
• Experience of managing Sub-Contractors
• Have excellent customer and business communication skills
• SMSTS 5 Day Health & Safety / CSCS Card / First Aid At Work

The Opportunity

For your skills and experience we can offer a shift rate of £250 per day, working Monday to Thursday 07.30 to 16.30. There may also be Saturday work paid at £350 per shift.
