Our client is seeking a reliable, dedicated Warehouse Operator / Delivery Driver to join their team in delivering authentic Italian products. You will play a vital role in the daily operations such as managing inventory, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining warehouse integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and organise incoming shipments of Italian food products.
• Maintain a clean, organised warehouse, adhering to food safety standards.
• Safely operate forklift to move and stack pallets.
• Prepare accurate customer orders for delivery.
• Conduct routine inventory checks and report discrepancies promptly.

Delivery Driver:

• Safely operate delivery vehicles for timely product transportation.
• Plan efficient delivery routes.
• Load and unload products securely.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and perform routine vehicle inspections.

Qualifications:

• College or equivalent.
• Valid clean driver's license.
• Warehouse and delivery driving experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Forklift certification and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy packages.

You will be able to lift objects/boxes, pick and pack products in a timely manner and have a clean Full UK Driving Licence. You will have an in-date Forklift Licence.
