Job Title: Behaviour Mentor

Salary Scale: £85-£95 per day

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor for a client school based in Newham. If you are passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact on their educational journey, we want to hear from you!

Educational Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications or experience in education, youth work, or a related field.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
• Empathy, patience, and a nurturing attitude.

Background Checks:

• Two professional references.
• DBS on the update service.
• An updated CV.

• Support Students: Provide one-on-one and group support to students, helping them overcome behavioural challenges and succeed academically.
• Monitor Progress: Track and report on student progress, working closely with teachers and other staff to develop effective strategies.
• Intervention Plans: Develop and implement personalised behaviour intervention plans.
• Collaborate: Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a supportive environment for students.
• ️ Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students by adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
