The Role:

Due to project wins and expected future orderbook, my client is looking to appoint a Design Manager to work as part of their regional set-up to play a key role on high profile builds predominantly in West Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have experience with Tier 1 contractors working on multi storey RC framed, multi room build.

The Client:

A well respected cash rich Tier 1 Main Contractor that operate throughout the UK on a range of major projects across varied sectors: High-Rise Living, Commercial, Healthcare, Student Accommodation, Education etc. who work on projects from up to £100m.

This position for a Design Manager will be to take full responsible for all design aspects on one of their new projects in Leeds.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge particularly within the PRS / High-Rise Residential / PBSA sector as well as the ability to communicate with all parties in the pre-construction phase through to project delivery. Ensuring designs are being scrutinized to identify issues before they impact build programmes, chairing meetings and liaison with consultants & subcontractors will necessarily be integral to the success of this role.
