These lot have been a client of mine for a couple of years now and continuing to do some really good things. They are a forward-thinking fintech bank utilising cutting-edge technology to empower customers financially. They have created a number of financial products for underserved market segments and their intermediary-focused tech platform simplifies buy-to-let mortgages for brokers and landlords. With over £150 million in strategic investment they are set to grow even further over the coming years.

Where you come in:

This is a brand new role for the business, which will see you lead on everything when it comes to service integration management and defining/implementing end-to-end ITIL based processes. You will have one direct report from day one and they have agreed sign off for another person to join once you are in and settled.

Some of your skills should include:

  • Proven experience and in-depth understanding of the ITIL Framework, including ITIL v4, combined with comprehensive knowledge of IT service management principles, processes, and best practices.
  • Expertise in utilizing ITIL Tools and CMDB, as well as a strong background in Service Integration and Management (SIAM) operating models.
  • Extensive experience managing outsourced IT suppliers, as well as a solid understanding of IT technical infrastructure, services, and architecture.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build influential relationships at all levels, combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to deconstruct complex issues into smaller, manageable components.
  • Proven organisational and delegation skills, with the ability to effectively leverage resources from other parts of the organisation.
  • Program or project management experience is advantageous, as is knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in adhering to established process design principles and managing changes to existing processes, breaking down complex business problems from subject matter experts, and documenting clear solution steps.
  • For the right person this is a huge opportunity - considering the sustained growth that they're going through, this role has a dotted line to management or C suite positions.
  • This role has a 3 stage interview process - initial 30 minute chat to say hello, technical interview 60 mins and a 30 min Q&A/Competency.


You will be needed in either the London office or near Manchester 2 days a week, if you need to travel to the other office that isn't your hub for any reason, expenses will be covered.
