Multi Skilled Production Operative

We have an opportunity for a highly motivated Multi-skilled Factory Operative to work at our flagship concrete products site at Ashington.

As a multi-skilled operative you will be an integral part of the production team, with your main responsibilities being to actively contribute to the manufacturing of quality products and delivery of production targets.

You will inspect, carry out and ensure that plant routines are regularly adhered to and that the cleanliness of the plant mechanism, plant area, adjacent buildings, and equipment are at all times properly and regularly inspected, cleaned in accordance with site instructions.

Previous experience of running processes and basic maintenance would be desirable.

What will you bring?

  • We are looking for a highly motivated General Operative with drive and enthusiasm to work as part of the Shift team.

  • Excellent communication and team working skills.

  • Good organizational skills

  • Able to work on your own initiative.

  • Ability to work to deadlines and problem solve.

  • Previous experience within a similar industry desired

  • Machine driving experience is mandatory, specifically loading shovel or telehandler, B1 and B2 forktrucks
