We are partnering with a leading secondary school in Haringey. The school is seeking a qualified and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team in September, on a long-term contract.

The role is full time, beginning in September, for up to 12 months. Pay is commensurate with experience on the main teaching pay scale - Inner London. The successful applicant should be enthusiastic and ambitious, and would be interested in developing their role within the department.  
 
Geography Teacher Key Responsibilities :   
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective KS3 & KS4 lessons.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.  
  • Coordinating with other staff in the faculty.
  • Creating engaging lessons for all learners, of all abilities.   
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing support for areas of growth.  
  • Support provided by colleagues on planning, teaching and assessing. 
Geography Teacher Qualifications and Experience:   
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications.   
  • Applicants can be newly qualified or experienced that can demonstrate ambition and passion. 
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.   
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.   
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
