Contract: Full Time - 6 Month Contract
Pay: £148.20 - £278.66 per day

We are partnering with a successful and committed primary school in the heart of Barnet. The school is seeking a qualified and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team in September.

Known for its engaging and inclusive environment, this two-form entry school has gained a reputation for tailoring their curriculum to serve the needs of each individual child. The school aims to provide opportunities beyond the prescribed 'National Curriculum' to further engage and inspire their students. 
 
The role is a full time role, on a 6 month contract beginning in September. Pay is commensurate with experience on the main teaching pay scale - Inner London. The successful applicant should be enthusiastic and ambitious, and would be interested in developing their role.  
 
Year 1 Teacher Key Responsibilities :   

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective KS1 lessons. 
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.  
• Creating engaging lessons for all learners, of all abilities.   
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing support for areas of growth.  
• Support provided by colleagues on planning, teaching and assessing. 

Year 1 Teacher Qualifications and Experience:   

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications.   
• Applicants can be newly qualified or experienced that can demonstrate ambition and passion. 
• Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.   
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.   
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
